Farmahouse Il Leccio

Located just 18 km from the sea of Castiglione della Pescaia, in one of the most beautiful and “real” Maremma this farm has a history similar to that of this land. Around 1930, this farm was built by the architectural structure: the main building with two floors, on the one hand and on the other the barn shed, pigsty and oven. The building, over 60 meters long, is a farm that today, thanks to the careful restoration done by the architect owner, retains its original charm: exposed brick vaults, stone fireplaces, high ceilings, wood and terracotta tiles. Old trees, like a majestic ash and an oak, creating vast areas ventilated interrupting the fields of arable land and olive groves and surround the large garden around the farm and the swimming pool (6 x 14 – open May / October). From here you can see some medieval villages (Vetulonia, Buriano, Montepescali) that from the hills overlooking the plain and dusk form a picturesque setting of small lights. Letizia and Rodolfo, left Florence in 2001 to live in this corner of Maremma, welcoming guests for the pleasure of exchanging experiences of life and to live with their passions.
