About an hour’s ride from our Farmhouse you will find the Saturnia Thermal Spa and its well-being centre. An ideal place to recharge both body and spirit in a comfortable environment. Lovers of thermal bathing can delight themselves in the natural thermal water swimming pool, formed by the Molino falls, an enormous pool with water at an all year round temperature of 37.5 degrees.

Terme di S. Giovanni
Near the Spa of Rapolano and about an hour away from our Farmhouse, this Spa has several outside pools and one octagonal inside pool with a water temperature of 39 degrees. You will also find a well-being centre.
Just 10 minutes from Podere il Leccio you will also find a well-being centre at the Andana Hotel on the Badiola Estate.
For those of you who prefer simplicity, about three quarters of an hour away, you will find the Fonte di Petriolo – Petriolo Spring. The 43 degree hot spring water flows in natural ponds close to one of the most unpolluted rivers in Italy: the Farma. A naturalistic trekking trail runs along the banks of this most interesting river. A few kilometres from Petriolo, in the village of Pari, you will find the trattoria-restaurant il Cacciatore in Piazza della Chiesa 16. SPORTS
HORSE RIDING
Just a few minutes away from Podere il Leccio you can book riding lessons at the horse riding centre “CIAM”. The school is recognized by the FISE-CONI. Hippotherapy is also carried out in the centre.
HORSEBACK EXCURSIONS
About 30 minutes away, in the Maremma Natural Park, horse riding excursions may be booked. Here you can ride through the Mediterranean bush, pine forests, sand dunes and enchanting beaches in the midst of ruined castles, abbeys and antique watch towers.
CANOE
In the Maremma Natural Park you may also book canoe excursions along the Ombrone river. The excursions last about three hours (from 9am to 12am and from 4pm to 7pm). Groups are accompanied by expert guides and even children can participate. From 9pm night-time excursions are also available.
KITESURF, WINDSURF, KAYAK
At Castiglione della Pescaia (le Marze), kite-surf, wind-surf and kayak facilities are available at the Centro Surf Relax.
SAILING, FISHING 
In the port of Castiglione della Pescaia you will find facilities for sailing courses, boat-hire with skipper and fishing ( no fishing permit is required for children under the age of twelve).
TENNIS
Tennis courts may be booked at Castiglione della Pescaia and at Grosseto.
GOLF
Just 25 minutes away golf lovers may play at the Golf Club Toscana, località Il Pelagone, Gavorrano.
TREKKING e MOUNTAIN BIKE
In the neighbourhood around Podere il Leccio there are several different itineraries for trekking and mountain bike excursions. We will supply whoever is interested with maps of the various trails.
At "home"
we have ping pong tables, a small football ground and, on demand, can supply bicycles.

Found at Caravicchio not far from Capalbio. The artist, Niki de Saint Phalle, has created a fantastic depiction of the twenty-two Major Riddles of the Tarot cards.
